EVA Beelink Backup — Privacy Notice

Effective October 12, 2026

Purpose

This is a private, owner-operated backup application, not a public service. It copies selected files to the owner’s Google Drive for disaster recovery.

Information and permissions

The application processes selected files, database snapshots, file paths, timestamps, integrity hashes and backup logs. It requests Google Drive access to create and verify backup files. Although Google’s permission covers Drive broadly, the local backup configuration limits routine operations to the designated backup folder. Credentials and designated excluded files are withheld from the archive.

Use and storage

Backup information is used for recovery and integrity checks. It is stored in the owner’s Google Drive under Google’s applicable policies. The backup application does not intentionally publish or sell the information, use it for advertising, or supply backup contents to AI models. Access is controlled by the owner’s Google account and Drive permissions. There is no additional application-level encryption password.

Retention and control

Completed versions remain until the owner deliberately removes them. Deleting a source file does not remove previous backup versions. The owner can stop backups, revoke authorization in Google Account connections, and manage stored backups in Drive. Revoking authorization does not itself delete existing backups.
